Zac Bookman

Zac Bookman

Co-Founder and CEO
Before co-founding OpenGov, Zac served as Advisor to U.S. Army General H.R. McMaster on the Transparency task force at the ISAF headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. He previously practiced trial litigation at Keker & Van Nest in San Francisco and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sandra S. Ikuta on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He studied corruption in Mexico as a Fulbright Fellow. Zac holds a J.D. from the Yale Law School, an M.P.A. from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland.
Joe Lonsdale

Joe Lonsdale

Co-Founder and Chairman
In 2004, Joe co-founded Palantir Technologies, a software company that develops mission-critical analysis systems used by government and financial organizations around the world. Joe Lonsdale currently serves as Chairman of Addepar, an emerging leader in private wealth management technology, and as a General Partner at Formation 8 Partners, a large early-growth IT and energy technology fund focused on commercializing Silicon Valley technologies in Asia. Joe worked with the financial arm of PayPal while at Stanford and then joined Clarium Capital as an early executive. Joe maintains a variety of philanthropic pursuits, including sitting on the board of CACS.org. He earned a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2003.
Mike Rosengarten

Mike Rosengarten

CTO
Before serving as CTO of OpenGov, Mike Rosengarten worked at Yahoo! in the Online Advertising division developing software to increase revenue in the Display Ads team. Before Yahoo!, Mike was part of the initial team that built RingRevenue's Performance Call Marketing platform. Mike holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. While there, he founded two successful internet-based software start-ups. In High School, Mike helped design, manage, and distribute one of the first widespread file sharing applications on IRC, Polaris, and he also directed a web development consulting company. When not writing code, Mike enjoys surfing, travelling, and advising a few start-ups.
Ainslie Mayberry

Ainslie Mayberry

CFO
Ainslie has over twenty years of financial experience including M&A, IPO road map, fund raising and multinational operations. Ainslie holds a BS and MBA, and was a founder of Digital Pathways Inc., a network access security solution provider in Mountain View, California. While with Digital Pathways, she held many executive positions including CEO, COO, CFO and a Member of the Board of Directors. During the IPO process, Digital Pathways was acquired by a public information security company. Subsequent to Digital Pathways, Ainslie has consulted with several start-ups as their CFO, including Rocket Fuel, MyBuys, Metamarkets and Tapjoy. Her experience spans companies from pre-revenue to a run rate of $75M per year, and includes domain expertise across a broad range of verticals, including SAAS, digital media, big data, social media, personalization, networking, and semiconductors.
Tim Kane

Tim Kane

VP Sales
Tim Kane brings 25 years of sales, strategy, and management experience to OpenGov. He was a founding employee of Coupons.com and a key contributor to growing sales from $200k to over $100mm (IPO March 2014). Tim has held positions at Ideal Labs, Big Bang Media, Venture Direct Worldwide, and Money Mailer. He has consulted with and advised companies across the country, including startups in the mobile, tech, and consumer industries.
Mike McCann

Mike McCann

Director, Technical Services
Before joining OpenGov, Mike served as the Finance Director of Ukiah, California and the Assistant Finance Director of Monterey, California, where he was responsible for Budget, CAFR, and operational reporting. Previously, he held CFO positions at a Silicon Valley start-up and a non-profit organization that provided federal and state funded job-training services. Mike has also held positions with Blue Shield of California, Wells Fargo, and ADP. He holds an MS in Instructional Science (CSUMB) and Technology and a BS in Accounting (SJSU). He served with the U.S. Army Security Agency in Vietnam and Japan.
Nate Levine

Nate Levine

Co-Founder
Named to the 2014 Forbes “30 Under 30” list, OpenGov Co-founder Nate Levine is a decorated researcher and transparency thought leader. Before OpenGov, Levine co-founded and served as President of California Common Sense, where he established California's first-ever data transparency portal and built a brand of research excellence. Nate studied engineering at Stanford University where he also worked for the Political Science Department researching and analyzing militarized conflicts.
